I was diagnosed as having rheumatoid arthritis a few years ago. I was unable to stand for long periods due to my swollen ankles and stiff swollen knees. My hands stayed swollen and painful. My shoulders were painful. I was beginning to get depressed.

In February of 1997 I got a sinus infection. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and decongestants for 10 days. A few days later the infection was back so the doctor gave me another 10 days of the same medication, and I also had gotten the flu. I was on antibiotics from February through June.
